ABARTH & C, the factory that Carlo Abarth established in 1949 and named after himself, was born to embody his passion for racing. The sale of various tuning kits was a major foundation for this. Among them, the "MARMITTA ABARTH" tuning muffler is known as a representative example, and it attracted the support of car enthusiasts at the time as a tuning that easily and reliably increases power.
Carlo's passion has been passed down to the new ABARTH, which was revived in 2007. One of the various optional items that allow you to increase the potential of the ABARTH 500/595 series is this exhaust system, "RECORD MONZA", which is the modern MARMITTA ABARTH.
The four end pipes peeking out from the tail are proof of the two-way system, which exhausts straight from the two inner pipes through the main silencer at low loads, and from the two outer pipes by opening a bypass valve at high loads exceeding 3000 rpm. This exhaust system is packed with ABARTH's seriousness and goes beyond just looks.
This RECORD MONZA is available as an original option for the 500/595, and is made of steel (iron) material, which is different from the one that comes standard on the Competizione. The pipes, silencer, and other parts are finished in black paint, and the four outlets are decorated with chrome pipes, making this a model that truly follows the tradition of MARMITTA ABARTH. While the overall shape and valve system are the same, this is a product that allows you to enjoy the mellow ABARTH sound that is unique to iron, which is a little different from the stainless steel version.
